E309MoL-17 Is all purpose rutile coated electrode which is extremely suitable for welding molybdenum containing austenitic stainless steels to carbon steels. Due to the appropriate quantity of Mo added into the weld, it increases the crack-resistance and the corrosion-resistance of the weld metal. This electrode is used primarily for welding type 316L and 316 clad steels, or welding molybdenum containing austenitic stainless steel to carbon steel.
